Prepare to test your limits at the AFF Warrior Yomp, an intense 50-mile trek to be completed within 24 hours. The challenge will take place from November 16-17, 2024, starting and finishing at Gravelly Point in Arlington, VA, near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The scenic route follows the Potomac River through Virginia, as well as the C&O Canal Trail in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Participants will tackle three key stages, with distances of 25 miles, 36 miles, and the full 50-mile course. Medals are awarded based on the stage completed: Bronze for 25 miles, Silver for 36 miles, and Gold for 50 miles.
Registration will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Military Women’s Memorial in Arlington.
The event kicks off at 0700 on Saturday, November 16, and participants have 24 hours to complete their trek, returning to Gravelly Point by Sunday, November 17.
Throughout the route, there will be checkpoints staffed with support teams providing care, food, and water. At each stage finish, participants will have the option to receive their medal and conclude the challenge or continue on to the next stage.
