Cherry Hill Park Family, Sherry and I want to take a moment to express our appreciation to the following staff members for making our first visit so enjoyable, despite the rain on this past Memorial Day holiday. We first visited the campground in January to decide which spot we wanted to use. We received a warm welcome from Barbara in the front office who laid out which spots would be available during the Memorial Day weekend holiday. After driving around with a map of open and available spots, we picked 317 and it was booked. From February until early May, we eagerly anticipated our first visit. The check-in process was smooth, and we again met Barbara, who greeted us pleasantly. We also visited the Capital Cafe, where Carol and her staff greeted us warmly. The meals were wonderful as were the scoops of ice cream. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool because the weather didn't cooperate. On one of our many golf cart rides we met Jennifer, a member of the Cherry Hill family. We expressed to Jennifer how amazing the time we had spent at the site was and how well maintained the facility looked. As our stay neared its end, we thanked the staff and asked Barbara to make our reservation for Labor Day weekend. We can't express how welcome we felt by the entire staff and are now looking forward to coming back to Site 332. Let the good times roll and we look forward to another visit over Labor Day weekend. Thanks again to Barbara, Carol, and the entire staff @ Cherry Hill Park. DS
If you are going to travel to DC in an RV, this is the place to park it! This place was amazing. Great sites with full hookups, friend and helpful staff. The facility is absolutely sparking. The bath houses were very clean, they have swimming pools, splash pads, putt putt golf and they even have a Ballroom! There is a dog park, a walking trail and laundry facilities. Once someone leaves their campsite staff is there to clean it up and make it look like new! They have an info session every day to help you navigate the subway and tell you the must see places. For an addition fee you can go on their Twilight Tour which was absolutely amazing. There is a historian that gives you all sorts of history about the places you will see. Totally will go back in the future!
Overall, it was a very nice experience at Cherry Hill RV Park where we stayed for about a month. The good, great and not-so-great: Good - The amenities - 2 laundry facilities, onsite cafe, pool, access to the bus system, the general store. The park provided WiFi was good. Great - The daily 4pm sight-seeing session, the evening monument tour offered by the park for $80pp, the quick drive to the Metro Station, the RV supplies section of the general store. Closest RV park to DC. Not-so-great -The general office/store staff is not very welcoming and its kind of off-putting. The RV sites themselves are quite pricey (even at a monthly rate) for how close together they are. You’r fire pit ring is LITERALLY abutted to your neighbor’s sewer. This isn’t the case for every site, but probably 80% of them. We have Starlink and service is not great.
This is by far THE best RV resort we have ever stayed in. We’ve been on a 3 month cross country RV trip and Cherry Hill outdoes any RV park so far. It’s clean and meticulously cared for. The sites are large and easy to get in and out of. The amenities available are amazing. Huge laundry room with commercial washer and dryers for bedding. An amazing splash zone, pool areas, and even a cafe. Every single employee we came across was helpful and kind. The best part is that it is easy to get in and out of DC right from the park. There is a bus stop on site and from 9-11am they have a concierge that you can purchase Metro/ bus passes from. They’re helpful and will give you a map and tell you which buses and metro lines to take to get to your desired location. We will stay here again.
We stayed at Cherry Hill Park from June 8–29, 2025, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay. We were in Site 0725, a premium pull-through with full hookups. It featured a brick patio, picnic table, patio set, grill, and fire ring. The site was spacious and easily accommodated our 42’ 5th wheel, along with our truck and car. This park truly feels like a vacation destination, offering just about everything you could need. Amenities include clean bathrooms and showers, a laundry facility, RV store, propane delivery, pool, hot tub, sauna, splash park, 18-hole mini golf, and a wide variety of outdoor activities. Golf cart rentals are available, and for pet owners, there’s a dog park, dog run, and even dog walking services. The location was the main reason for our stay, as we wanted to explore Washington, D.C., and this park made it incredibly convenient. They offer a bus service with tours into D.C., which made getting around easy and stress-free. It’s truly an ideal place to stay if you want to experience everything the D.C. area has to offer. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an RV park in the College Park, MD area!
I can not say one bad thing about this camp ground. The customer service is amazing. The lots are nice and big. The price in my opinion was way under what it could be with all of the amenities. Everything and I mean everything was clean and top notch! I wish we could have stayed for more than two days.
A fantastic RV site with lots of services available on site even though we stopped out of season. Great showers hot and spacious. There is a sauna and hot tub and a small gym. The team on arrival were extremely helpful warm and friendly. The information given was spot on and made the journey to down town easy. The security on site was great. The shop has some supplies and souvenirs ( cheaper than downtown ) . Well worth considering when looking to book in Washington.
Cherry Hill was perfect for our families needs. The park is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The amount of fall foliage we were able to see was truly incredible. The bath houses are spacious and clean. Every member of the staff was helpful, kind, and informative. The office store is well stocked and organized with all kinds of souvenirs as well as other helpful and necessary items. Multiple trash bins in fairly close proximity to all lots, but we did notice a lack of pet waste/bag stations. We unfortunately didn’t stay as long as we’d have liked so we weren’t able to enjoy all the park has to offer but that is not a reflection of CH and solely on our travel plans and the cold snap that rolled through. Beautiful park, spacious with more lots to come soon. I highly recommend it if you're visiting the Washington/Baltimore area with pets.
We stayed here in September at a premium tent site, what an amazing campground! The site was very nice with a gazebo, hammock, camp chairs, and a nice and level tent pad with soft mulch. The dish washing station at the center of the circle was very convenient. We enjoyed swimming in the pools, soaking in the hot tub, sweating in the sauna, and running through the splash pad. The mini golf course is pristine and very well maintained. The game room is affordable and has a really cool digital payment system. There’s a very cozy family room in the clubhouse with a comfy couch and fish tanks. Several playgrounds, lots of walking and hiking, a little pond. The bathhouses are VERY clean and well maintained. The staff were all very nice and we had an amazing time.
We loved this campground! The process of checking in and out was a breeze. The campground is laid out very well. It's super clean on the grounds and in the bathhouses. The walking trail is well maintained, as are the other amenities. We had food from the cafe that was really good, the service was quick, and the young ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. We do not have one complaint about Cherry Hill and look forward to coming back!
