The staff is so friendly, especially the front desk ladies, and the breakfast was amazing. Even my teenagers who usually skip breakfast came down for the chicken and mac n cheese at the breakfast buffet. The pool And hot tub were great. A little far of a walk To go to the capital and National mall, but doable. NASA headquarters are right across the street. After doing it a few days my kids wanted to uber but it’s not super far. Great hotel and highly recommend

Updated and comfortable rooms, quiet, clean and convenient location. Breakfast was so helpful each morning and we especially loved getting to talk to Lawrence in sales and marketing each morning. We traveled with 2 other families and got to hang out in the breakfast area with them and Kae from the front desk baked us all cookies one evening. Definitely a great spot for individuals, couples or families when in the DC area.

The staff here is genuinely exceptional and honestly the highlight of this place. The breakfast dining team in particular goes out of their way to check in on you constantly. At the front desk, Renisha brings such a joyous, uplifting energy every single time. There's also a gentleman at the front desk who, on multiple occasions, noticed me walking in with my hands full and came over to tap the key card and press the elevator button for me, just genuinely sweet and helpful without being asked. Housekeeping always greets me warmly in the hallways too. You can really tell everyone here takes pride in their work, and for hotel-level food, the breakfast quality is surprisingly decent on top of all that. That said, my husband and I have been staying here as temporary housing for over a month now, so we've had plenty of time to notice the shortcomings. The most recurring issue is a sewer smell that's hard to ignore. Every single guest who's visited us has walked in and immediately asked about it. Not a great first impression. A few other things worth noting: the gym is bare bones (just dumbbells and basic cardio machines, no cable machines), the parking situation is genuinely frustrating with non-guests apparently able to access the garage during weekday business hours causing daily overflow, and the elevator breaks down more than it should. Oh, and this is the only hotel I've ever stayed at where the stairwell doesn't connect to the lobby, which even the front desk staff acknowledges is bizarre. The bathrooms also feel quite dated. Low water pressure, a basic bathtub setup, and not enough hooks. A refresh would go a long way. The staff alone would earn five stars. The building itself brings it down a notch.

Amazing property where I felt like I was staying with family! Ronita, Bianca, and Jason showed incredible hospitality. I loved having conversations with them each time I passed by the front desk! They are welcoming, personable, and very friendly. Beautiful rooms as well with a great breakfast included. Quick train ride to see the monuments in DC. I stayed here during the 2026 TRB Annual Meeting. Jason, Bianca, and Ronita were kind, professional, and helpful. The restaurant opened while I was there and I had a chance to try the cocktails…yum! My room was spacious, quiet, immaculate, as was the hotel. The location was great for my needs and put me close to the places I needed and wanted to go. I’ll definitely revisit for personal travel.

You just don’t expect to receive 5-Star Service at a Residence Inn, but then this is no ordinary Residence Inn, and it’s the amazing staff that makes all the difference. A special shout-out to Donny! You sir are the embodiment of “service with a smile”. Everyone at this hotel— the housekeeping staff, the front desk staff, the dining room staff, all make you feel welcome and personally cared for Bravo!

Our stay was great. Bianca was very welcoming at check-in and accommodating, thoughtfully asking about our room preferences. Rachel at the bar brought such a great energy .Breakfast the following morning was great the gentlemen were attentive, warm, and consistently ensured guests were well taken care of. The staff AND the breakfast exceed expectations! Staff are very friendly all the time, and helpful. Our heater wasn't working well, they had someone up fixing it immediately. The breakfast is really nice compared to most Marriotts. Thanks for a great experience on our trip

Only having queen beds available which were NOT comfortable, hurt our backs...tried the pull out couch bed was all springy. A drawer next to bed would not stay closed, very strange. The room was large with kitchen n table n chairs. The walk in shower was great! The breakfast was delicious with many to choose from. The coffee was strong too. The cook staff abd desk staff were amazing...so friendly!

My husband, myself and our daughter stayed this past weekend here. It was our daughter's 7th birthday. Upon entering to check in the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special. Before checking out on Sunday she brought her a dozen roses and cupcakes. The location was convenient to public transportation. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely return!
