I was in town for a Volleyball tournament at the Convention Center, and had been driving home each night (to Northern VA) except for the last night because we had an early start on Monday. I kept looking at chain hotel prices online and kept getting discouraged with the pricing after all the fees, etc... I then found the Henley Park Hotel & it was amazing. I called and was able to reserve a room. The King room was beautiful. The front desk staff was very helpful. I had a drink at the bar and the service was great. It is a beautiful hotel, the price was perfect for 1 night ($150). I was able to get an Uber easily. It was a very easy walk to the convention center.

An unexpected delight. Boutique hotel. Expensive parking but it is balanced by reasonable room rates. Clean and really pleasant room. I wouldn’t go out alone at night there, but did not have any concerns during the day or Ubering at night. Highly recommend!

You can see from my history I never give bad reviews , this place changed it, I went to the desk to check in, was not greeted , basically asked like "what?" I had to explain I was checking in, they told me yes we have rooms ready but you have to pay an extra day to get in 2 hours early, asked for a manager to speak to, also reiterated that in rude fashion , was not given an explanation as to why, just it is what it is, I work with hotels all the time through my job and this has never been an issue , if the room is ready they let you in, complete cash grab, manager was so rude and dismissive, will never give this place business personally or through my work clients, bell staff and housekeeping were exceptional they should be running it tbh.

The hotel was at a fantastic location in the heart of DC. And it was a funky place with a nice sitting room and interesting bar. But the rooms were lacking. The old windows led to drafts, my in-room coffee maker didn't work, and there were 2 working electrical outlets in the room. One by the door and the other in the bathroom. (I charged my phone in the bathroom.). And when I went to heat up the iron to iron my pants and shirt, it immediately set of the smoke detector. Since it wasn't hard-wired, I got it to shut off quickly.

Great staff, clean rooms, good mattresses. Amazing architecture. Sorry so close to Chinatown didn't eat in the hotel but I see they have high tea.

Excellent high tea available daily, but make reservations, as they bake for the reservations that morning. Excellent scones! Great value. Terrific service. Jamal did a lovely job.

Our stay at the Henley hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the doorman greeted us so warmly and set the tone for the entire visit. At the front desk, Oscar , and Brhanu made check-in quick and easy, while also taking the time to answer our questions and offer great local recommendations. Both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The service truly made this trip special, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort paired with exceptional hospitality!

The location is excellent, very close to public transit and walking distance to lots of attractions, restaurants, entertainment! We loved the atmosphere and design of the hotel, very classic and elegant. the staff were very welcoming and professional. we arrived early and were upgraded to a beautiful suite. the rooms are beautifully and classically decorated, comfortable and clean. the staff were extremely cordial and accomodating when we picked up our bags. Would love to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it! Price is a great deal too!

I just booked a room here for the night bc I had early plans in the city the next day. Customer service was excellent. My room was nothing special. The bathroom toilet sat extremely low even for me as a 36 y/o woman lol it was more for a toddler. The bed was comfortable though. My view was terrible and there was construction extremely loud early in the morning during my one night stay. The room was clean and the location is perfect

This was my second stay with Henley Park. I enjoy qaint hotels that have been well maintained and Henley Park does not disappoint. I have been surprised to find sufficient street level parking within a block of the hotel. Upon arrival I have been met both times by someone at the door with a welcome greeting. The desk personnel have been very accommodating and friendly. I have yet to enjoy tea time or the bar/restaurant but I will ensure to make time on a future visit. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Checkouts have been seamless and on both stays I wish I had more time to stay. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, and on our first stay we walked to the hockey arena and the White House. I have enjoyed my stays with Henley Park and I look forward to a future stay. I will continue to support this hotel.
