about 1 month agoExtremely satisfied with my stay at the Hyatt House at The Long Wharf. The view from my room was breathtaking. We were here for my mother’s birthday and she really enjoyed our stay. She could not look away from the view from our room. My entire family enjoyed their stay here and you will too. The hot breakfast is a treat especially considering that it is free. The valet parking staff are very efficient and reliable. You may consider the price quite hefty (I sure did) but your car is in great hands while under the care of the Hyatt/Canopy valet staff. My only caveat is that the toilet was leaking a bit and didn’t flush initially the first time, it’ll take a couple times to flush the contents out. However, this is not a huge deal breaker of any sorts. The beds were very comfortable and the room felt clean to the touch. Special shout out to Senessie M. He really helped me out with my reservation and he made her first visit to DC even better for her. His professionalism was very on point. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. This was not my first time visiting this hotel and will definitely not be my last.

about 2 months agoWe stayed for 4 nights during our first trip to Washington, DC from Europe. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The rooftop pool is a great addition, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location at The Wharf is excellent. The area is lively, clean, and offers plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. However, because of the vibrant nightlife, it can be a bit noisy at night, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. A few minor remarks: - The breakfast is quite limited and could offer more variety. - The hotel requires a $75 per night deposit. For a 4-night stay, this amounted to $300, which feels rather high. Fortunately, the deposit was refunded quickly after check-out. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would consider staying here again on a future visit to Washington, DC.

3 months agoI very much enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel, I was here for a conference and meetings on Capitol Hill. My room was spacious, modern and clean and provided a quiet workspace for me to complete my work in the evenings. There’s also a beautiful outdoor courtyard with a view of the water. This hotel is located in the Wharf waterfront area with many fantastic restaurants and shops within walking distance! I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk, the outdoor dining and found some great spots for desserts! It’s also a very short walk to the spy museum that’s nearby and to the metro train station. I will definitely be booking this hotel during future visits to Washington DC..

3 months agoI just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful time we had during our recent stay at your hotel. The warm and friendly staff made us feel so welcome, and our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The amazing view from our room was the cherry on top of our experience! We truly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was delicious, and we appreciated the convenience of the valet parking service. Overall, everything was perfect, and we will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you once again for making our stay so enjoyable!

4 months agoThis location is highly convenient if you want a low effort route to the National Mall. You can easily walk or get a short Uber/Lyft anywhere. Being on the strip also gets you access to a lot of great restaurants literally outside your door. The valet/parking is a little confusing on first arrival. The Hyatt house lobby itself is on the second floor but you need to take the alleyway to get to the base floor and then the elevator up. Valet service is handled by a 3rd party and there was confusion on when we arrived on who would be responsible for bringing a bell cart down; the driver didn't want to help and told me I needed to contact the hotel team. I wish the hotel service team would have taken more initiative to have that prepared especially after I had called the night before requesting for it to assist with my family's ADA needs. After calling again though and reiterating our needs they were able to get a cart down in 15 Min, the bell hop was a champ and helped us load and get all our supplies to the room (very thankful for him). Overall the room was spacious and clean. I'd say this is a good place to stay if convenience is king for you. Staff are nice! But nothing outstanding for me on this stay. Maybe next time!
