Aster was amazing! She was incredibly welcoming and noticed right away that I was there alone. Even though the bar was full, she still made sure to check in and help me. I’m not sure how she even spotted me with how busy it was, but she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. When I mentioned that it was my first time going out like this, she was especially kind and reassuring, which meant a lot to me. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and attentiveness. I’ll definitely be back when I’m here for the business conference next month. I can’t recommend her enough!

You expect quality service when at an upscale or luxury hotel like the Grand Hyatt. Perfect print top the bottom everyone at this hotel provides service like it’s supposed to be. They are engaged and friendly. They make eye contact and acknowledge you when you walk by. They ask how things are going. Kudos to management for instilling a service culture of excellence at this property and for hiring the wonderful people, which is not easy to do.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, professional, and well-managed. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with excellent amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the overall service throughout the property was outstanding. I especially want to highlight the valet service — and Robert in particular. Robert truly went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. His warm attitude and genuine willingness to help made a lasting impression on us.

Had such a grand time. Beautiful property. So comfy and fun. Yvette and Lamara at the front desk were so helpful. Charles was a very cool bellman. Aster was very nice at the bar. Mai and Nancy were very helpful at the Grand club. Wonderful place to stay when in DC, close to everything.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt and we enjoyed having good service and proximity to all the tourist attractions. The front-desk staff accommodated our numerous requests and gave us the attention we needed for our busy schedule. We think they did a great job and they made being a member of Hyatt worthwhile. Thank you guys. The location of the hotel was excellent and getting to any of our many stops was easy to plan for and even easier to get to. There is access to all the transportation you can ask for, all the restaurants we wanted were nearby, and easy for us to find friendly faces at the game or at the bar.

Stayed here around the holidays and enjoyed it overall. The club was lacking a little, but given how few hotels even offer this experience we still appreciated it. The Grand Suite was truly huge and probably one of the largest we've stayed in around the DC area at almost 1,000 square feet. Be warned, these suites are FAR from the club and elevators as this hotel is huge. We had an issue with how the food was stocked in the club after dessert ran out and nothing was replenish towards the end of the evening, but the manager made it right. Wish they still had the old water feature in the lobby, but the remodel was needed and nice. Starbucks in the lobby will make travelers happy too and metro is right there!

Overall a wonderful hotel. The lack of drawers was surprising and we pretty much had to live out of the closet and suit cases but that really was the only setback. Everything else was top notch. Loved the staff they were so helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and made ya wanna stay longer. (Might be a set back for some ambitious people). Overall a wonderful experience and 2 blocks from everything.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Washington DC for a work trip, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to great restaurants, coffee spots, and even my office meetings. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. Check-in was smooth, and every interaction I had throughout my stay was top-notch. The hotel has a modern, upscale feel while still being warm and inviting. What I loved most was the convenience — easy access to everything I needed, great amenities, and a quiet, relaxing space to unwind after a long day. Overall, an amazing experience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Washington to anyone visiting DC for work or leisure!

Very nice hotel. It’s under construction so just be aware. When checking in on a Tuesday night there was a LONG line and only one hotel person doing check-ins. Took at least 30 minutes just to get checked in. (After a long travel day.) The room was clean and nice. The chargers in the room weren’t very good. They struggled to charge my devices. Very nice bathroom with a super warm shower and toiletries smell really nice. They give you two water bottles in your room. Wish there was silverware in the room. Ordered door dash and had to go searching around the hotel lobby for silverware and eventually found a fork in the makeshift restaurant to use. The valet parking is nice ($75/night though) but has an easy app to pay, request, and tip on. Was traveling for work and would stay here again.

Not my fav hotel in DC, but it’s def the best cost:quality combo. The beds are much nicer than the average chain hotel, and that alone is worth the price of admission, not to mention the fantastic location and nice staff. Really solid gym from what I remember, too.
