The Park Hyatt Washington offers a luxurious and memorable experience with its spacious suites, exceptional service, and beautiful design. While some rooms may exhibit minor dated details, the overall atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, particularly due to the hotel’s prime location and attentive staff.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Park Hyatt DC. The location was excellent—far enough away from the chaos of downtown to feel relaxed, but a quick cab, Uber, or scooter ride to all the restaurants, bars, and attractions you'd want to visit. The suite was the real highlight. Spacious, well-designed, and laid out in a way that actually made sense. Too many hotels throw a couch in the corner and call it a suite. Not here. The room felt luxurious without being over the top. The bed was incredibly comfortable, Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and I have to give a special shoutout to the person at HQ for picking these bath products. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and these may be some of the best-smelling products I've come across. I may or may not have considered taking a few extra bottles home. My only complaint is the hotel bar. It's surprisingly small for a property of this caliber, and there wasn't a TV in sight. Not a huge issue unless you're trying to catch a game or unwind with a drink while keeping tabs on what's happening in the sports world. Overall, a fantastic stay. Comfortable, elegant, and in a great location. Go with confidence.
Had a solid stay at the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C.. The service here is outstanding—truly one of the highlights of the experience. Housekeeping was also on point and consistently did a great job throughout my stay. The hotel itself feels a bit dated and could benefit from a renovation to match the level of service, but overall it didn’t take away from a comfortable visit. They also have a solid gym with updated equipment, which is a big plus for me—hotel gyms are very important when I travel, and this one delivered for a great workout. I would definitely stay here again.
I love Park Hyatts in general, but this one stands out even among them. The overall experience felt truly five-star: beautiful design, a very professional and caring team, excellent food, and that rare feeling that the whole property is being run by people who actually pay attention. This hotel is known for its tailored, residential-style design and unusually strong bathrooms, and that absolutely came through in our stay. ? We had a suite and it was beautiful, creative, and genuinely memorable. I especially loved the little details like the ducks and the apples :) – small thing, but exactly the kind of touch that makes a place feel more distinctive instead of interchangeable luxury. The suite was also very well equipped, and the bathroom was excellent. The only reason I’d rate the room itself more like a 4 than a 5 is that a few details felt surprisingly neglected compared to the rest of the hotel. The blackout blinds in particular looked really worn and outdated, with visible cables that took away from the otherwise polished feel. And that’s exactly why it stood out: because the rest of the property feels so well cared for that this part almost makes no sense. It’s not a disaster, just one of those details that slightly breaks the illusion. But overall, this was absolutely a five-star stay for me. Great design, great team, great food, beautiful suites, and a hotel that feels elegant without becoming cold or generic. If they cleaned up a few of those room details, it would be close to flawless.
Excellent hotel. Yes it is a bit dated, but that just adds to the charm. Staff here is exceptionally warm and hospitable. Concierge Noah deserves honorable mention for going above and beyond long before our stay even started. The location in beautiful Georgetown is outstanding. The lobby lounge is an excellent place for a nightcap after a long day of exploring in DC. Not sure if/when I'll be back in the area, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This hotel was great! I was traveling with my 2 kids, both under 6, and we had an amazing stay! We arrived after a super early flight and were able to drop our bags and start our check in. We got a text while we were eating breakfast that our room was ready! So incredible! It's about a 5 minute walk, with kids, to the Foggy Bottom metro stop. Their breakfast buffet was delicious and the kids loved picking their own foods. We also had room service from the Blue Duck Tavern and it was so tasty! And so convenient after a full day of walking around the monuments. The pool was a huge hit with the kids too! And the water was actually warm enough that they wanted to swim for longer than 5 minutes. The staff were amazing, extremely welcoming and helpful. I would 100% stay here again!
