To all the women looking to book here please do not! A girlfriend of mine stayed here this past weekend and woke up to a hotel worker standing over her watching her sleep the morning of her stay! When she contacted the hotel she was told they’d look into it. When they contacted her afterwards she was basically told it didn’t happen and given a partial refund for her stay (adimission of guilt?)… her word against a serial predator working and being protected by this hotel. Stay away ladies and shame on this disgusting hotel!

We are staying at Hotel Lombardy during graduation weekend in Washington, DC, and I have been so appreciative of the kindness and professionalism of the staff. A special thank you to Ms. Sherane Berkeley, the Reservations Manager, who has given us amazing attention and care. Traveling with family can be very stressful, especially when room arrangements matter, but she has been calm, helpful, and truly attentive. Her kindness and professionalism made us feel welcomed and taken care of during a very busy weekend. The hotel has beautiful historic charm, a great location, and a warm, classic feel that makes it different from a standard chain hotel. We are grateful for the service and for the effort the staff has made to help us feel comfortable. Thank you to Ms. Berkeley and the Hotel Lombardy team for helping make this important family weekend easier and more memorable!!

Staff are great. It has an in site bar and restaurant, the bar perhaps closes a little early considering the immediate area sort of shuts down around 9. Location is good and walking distance to train. Safe area and good value for money. Would stay here again

Excellent two night stay in one of their suites. Very old-timey kind of place dripping with character. Very professional service at front desk, bar and restaurant. Big improvement over the large sterile branded hotels. I highly recommend this Hotel. Price is extremely reasonable and so value is very high.

This review is for the bar downstairs. It’s a very charming and quaint little place, with a lovely fireplace and Moroccan/Turkish-style tables and lamps. It feels like a bar at a private members’ club, with a warm and quiet ambiance.

Large rooms with comfortable beds, but not modern and all the better for being historic. Very good location for a good price and nice service. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the café.

This is our second time staying here and it is our DC go to! We love the rooms, the staff is absolutely amazing, and we got upgraded to a suite as we are celebrating my wife’s birthday and Valentines Day. The cafe is extremely nice and food was fantastic. If you like staying in historic building with amazing character, Hotel Lombardy is for you.

I don’t know what makes a four star hotel, four stars, but this definitely deserves only two. I feel like I am staying in a 300 year-old dormitory. The walls and trim work are caked with centuries of paint and caulk, and there are holes in the carpet and furniture that looks like it’s from an attic…. Not sure if this is what luxury should feel like. ——— Update. Front desk was very accommodating. They moved us to a different room, which definitely looks significantly better and has been taken care of. Definitely an older hotel but the original room most definitely felt like a closet.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lombardy. I found it comfortable and clean, the two most important things for me. The age of the hotel is very apparent. Old appliances, outdated electronics, but I think you come for the ambiance of an older time. I used my points to stay here and would stay here again if I needed.

Very beautiful hotel with a little victorian touch, kind of makes you feel like royalty. The staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Only negative was the pillows were quite hard but not a big deal the bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the telivision.
