Simply the best! The Willard Intercontinental is the finest hotel in a Washington. The hotel is classically beautiful and the service is outstanding. I was there to celebrate my birthday and Ali, Sojung, Nara, and Richard went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Ali is a standout in the hospitality industry his level of kindness and knowledge of the area is unmatched. I had a beautiful suite and was sent several delicious treats to help me celebrate. The Willard Intercontinental is a one of a kind, and I can’t wait to return. Exquisite!

A truly exceptional five-star experience. The Willard Hotel combines timeless elegance, rich history, and outstanding service. The location is perfect, within walking distance of many of Washington’s most famous landmarks. The staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive to every detail , I specify Mr.Ali T.. The beautiful lobby, luxurious rooms, and classic atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Washington, D.C.

For our anniversary trip to DC, We chose to stay at InterContinental the Willard Washington D.C. and it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Perfectly located just a short, easy walk to the National Mall, it made exploring Washington’s iconic monuments and museums incredibly convenient. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and truly five-star. We had the pleasure of being checked in by Ali, the guest relations, quality manager. He was extremely courteous and professional, and to our delight, sent a little something special for our anniversary to our room. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and memorable. The hotel itself is stunning—elegant & beautifully maintained—with spacious rooms and luxurious touches throughout. What really sets this property apart is the combination of its prime location and impeccable hospitality. After a full day of sightseeing, it was the perfect retreat to relax and unwind in comfort. If you’re looking for the perfect hotel in Washington, DC within walking distance to the National Mall, this is an outstanding choice. Highly recommend for anyone wanting both convenience and an elevated experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Willard, and I truly can’t recommend them enough. We held our wedding here, and the space itself is stunning, elegant, timeless, and was the perfect backdrop for our special day. I want to give a huge thank you to Micheal, who we worked with during the contract process and coordination with the hotel. He was incredibly helpful every step of the way. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was clear and seamless. We also want to highlight Moses, who made such a lasting impression on us. My fiancé’s birthday fell on our wedding day, and he surprised my now-husband with a cupcake to celebrate, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Throughout the wedding day, he was attentive, kind, and always made sure both we and our families were well taken care of. The entire staff went above and beyond. The staff overall all were consistently checking in on us, making sure everything was running smoothly, and ensuring we could fully enjoy the moment. It truly felt like they had thought of every detail—from packing us an anniversary cake to bringing our dinners up to our room after the reception in case we didn’t get a chance to eat. Their level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our day unforgettable.

I’m writing this review as I sit in my room, watching my food get cold, all while waiting on condiments to be delivered for my breakfast I ordered as in room dining. To not include syrup for breakfast pancakes is a crime in itself and honestly the final straw I’ve had with my one night stay at The Willard on Christmas Eve. Check-in was subpar. The gentlemen checking me in was not welcoming and almost looked as if he was dreading providing me service. He made no mention of dining hours and when I arrived at my room at 11PM, I was sadly informed I had missed dinner by 5 minutes. The “upgraded room” I received was on a low floor, had a poorly stocked mini fridge and a view of the hotel I should have spent my Christmas Eve with. That brings us to breakfast. Finally I am able to partake in a proper meal. I order the American breakfast with pancakes which came in a timely fashion and looked delicious. After positioning myself to eat a hearty meal, it dawns on me; there is not a single condiment in sight. Not a single salt, pepper, butter or syrup packet available for the $80 breakfast I just received. Of course I call to have this rectified which was promptly acknowledged as an issue, but now here we are, 45 minutes later and still no condiments. You would think the amount that you pay for The Willard would equate quality service, however I think I am more disappointed that I spent my time here. Most importantly my Christmas Eve. I will be sure never to make that mistake again.
