Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting DC! The rooms are much more spacious than most hotels I've been to and service is excellent. We were able to request a microwave and mini fridge in our room for any leftover food which is clutch as hotels don't seem to have either of these anymore. Plus they provide robes, complimentary Saratoga water, and chocolate chip banana bread! The hotel is also in Dupont Circle which is a beautiful area to walk or run around with lots of cute restaurants and coffee spots. It's also a ~ 30 minute walk to the White House and a ~40 minute walk to Georgetown, so you'll definitely hit your 10k steps/day! Overall, the Lyle exceeded my expectations and I will 100% stay here again.

Our stay was lovely. The room, bathroom, and kitchenette were clean and comfortable. We did the family adventure package, and the kids were very excited to have the tent, books, and stuffed animals in the room. I didn't realize the package was a limited breakfast menu; my kids can be a bit picky, but the staff was very accommodating and let us order a few things off the menu. The room was nice. We got the kitchenette. I wish there were a sponge and soap, but it was nice to have real cups, plates, etc. It was wonderful to start the day with the Nespresso. It would be nice to have water stations and ice machines, but I appreciated the two bottles of water per day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return!

This was my first time in D.C. I stayed at the Lyle for a conference after the main hotel booked up, and I’m so glad I ended up here! The front desk staff and valet were warm and welcoming. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant several times—the food was great, with some fantastic small meal options. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and it's just a short walk to Dupont Circle for more dining options and easy Metro access. My only critique is that the rooms are on the smaller side, and the bathroom has a pedestal sink, which leaves no counter space.

The Lyle is an absolute gem. The location alone is worth it — everything is so close that you can explore the entire city without a car. Dupont Circle is the perfect home base, with restaurants, the metro, and so much of DC just a short walk away. The service matched the setting. The staff were warm and attentive from check-in onward, and the bar was a real highlight — a great spot to unwind after a day out. The rooms are beautifully done and incredibly comfortable; the beds in particular gave us some of the best sleep we've had while traveling. We'll absolutely be back. If you're visiting Washington, this is the place to stay.

The Lyle has that old time feel from the outside. The staff was great and the location is perfect for walking mostly anywhere. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The Lyle is in a great location. The front desk staff, valet drivers, and bar staff were all friendly and welcoming. The beds were a little uncomfortable, and the refrigerator was completely stocked with minibar items, so if you want to store anything of your own, you have to remove their items first. The next morning, my friends and I went downstairs for breakfast. We stood at the host stand for about five minutes before being acknowledged, even though it wasn't busy at all. The host seemed very passive. Once we were seated, it took quite a while for a server to come to our table. After our food arrived, he never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. At checkout, we were told we had to pay a $34 amenities fee ($34 per night we stayed) . This fee was not disclosed on the website when we booked our stay, and we were not informed about it at check-in either. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I would not recommend it.

We worked with the Lyle sales team member Tenea to book 40 rooms for my daughter's wedding and she was great to work with and made sure everything was in order for all of our guests. I also worked specifically with LaToya in reservations and she was so helpful and was on top of anything we needed. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us to make sure not only our stay, but our guests stay was perfect. The rooms are very spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable. Several of our guests actually commented they would love to have them for their own home. The location is centrally located and the metro station is within walking distance. A few of our guests even extended their stay so they could enjoy the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you to everyone at the Lyle for making my daughter and son in-laws wedding weekend perfect! I would recommend this hotel if you are having a wedding at The Perry Belmont. It is a short 3 minute walk.

LOVE this Boutique Hotel! Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely burled walnut Art Deco meets updated cozy. Breakfast and lunch was delicious. We had 25 people meeting in the basement space for several days. Round tables in one room. Sofas and chairs in another. Conference room for 20 or so. Kitchen area for all drinks and occasional snacks. I would definitely stay at the Lyle again. Highly recommend for a smaller workgroup gathering.

I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this one stands out as a favorite. I booked The Lyle for a work trip and was so impressed by everything from the soft carpet and comfortable bed to the friendly and helpful staff and dietary labels on the restaurant menu. Any time I called to request something, it arrived in minutes. All around an exceptional experience.

Extremely impressed by this hotel. Check-in was seamless, friendly and accommodating. The valet was helpful and patient. The queen deluxe room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The best part of the Lyle is the staff that goes out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. There seems to be a culture of kindness and customer service at this place. My family and I will absolutely stay here in the future.
