Both sets of brides and grooms genuinely felt at home, and within minutes of arriving, our guests were treated to a true VIP experience at one of the most refined luxury hotels in Washington, DC. Thanks to the impeccable customer service and attention to detail of Christopher, we experienced two nearly flawless event executions. Christopher is a super fast lightning speed communicator. He's always there when you need him and truly goes above and beyond at every chance he gets. It's in the small details that go a mile when you’re working with private event clients who are celebrating one of the most important days of their lives—and who have entrusted all of us to help bring their vision to life. So impressive! The food was spectacular, and the kitchen and service teams were among the most polished we’ve encountered in the industry. They absolutely rocked the house! Finally, all of these wonderful moving parts and team collaborations were led by our longtime colleague, Golnaz, Director of Corporate and Social Events. It was such an honor to work alongside her and experience her phenomenal leadership firsthand. I don't normally write reviews but I had such a wonderful time here I wanted to write something. I stayed for the first time last week for two nights. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was the center of attention and everyone was so kind. From the doormen to the front desk workers, everyone went out of their way to make sure I was cared for. I don't normally stay at 5-star hotels so this was such a wonderful experience. The place is so clean and in a great location. They go out of their way to make sure you have a nice stay. Even housekeeping left left a lovely thank you note when I left a daily tip, which I really loved. The doormen were so kind and I really enjoyed chatting with them while I waited for my Uber in the morning. I ate at The Quill on Friday night and had a delicious meal. The staff were so friendly and checked in several times to see if I needed anything. Also the cookies and chocolate ice cream were so delicious, I highly recommend saving room for them. I wish I could have stayed longer and I can't wait to come back!

This is a smaller family owned bouquet 5 star hotel that lives up to its ranking. We stayed here a week and were treated like family by everyone. Great value when comparing other “5” start hotels in the city. It’s quite and low key with a a great bar and restaurant, will definitely stay here again next time we visit

My daughter’s wedding reception was held in the Greenhouse Room at The Jefferson, and I could not be more pleased with the delicious food and impeccable service! In addition, the venue itself is beautiful, historic, and extraordinarily well maintained. The Events Manager, Chris, is a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond in providing my daughter with creative ideas and support that turned her wedding dreams into reality. I cannot thank Chris, and the entire staff at The Jefferson enough for making our wedding reception there such a memorable, perfect occasion!

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted with fresh waters at check-in, received a wonderful room upgrade, and had every special request accommodated without hesitation. We booked through Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts and took full advantage of the perks, but honestly the property stands on its own. The staff across the board was outstanding, from the bellmen and front desk team to every host and hostess we encountered throughout our stay. Having lived in DC for years, we know this city well, and The Jefferson remains one of its finest addresses. The location is ideal, and the hotel strikes that rare balance of full-service luxury with a boutique intimacy you rarely find. It feels like a grand hotel without ever feeling impersonal. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely love this place. The downstairs is full of hidden treasures, with an old library and beautiful small meeting rooms that are open to everyone. The bar is VERY cool, and the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. The breakfast room is stunningly beautiful, and the rooms upstairs are gorgeous, but also somehow still feel like you're in a home. To tell you how good the service is: I was late for work one evening because my uber got lost. The doorman noticed I was struggling and he had a cab ready for me 2 minutes later. Can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay at the Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC. Everything was outstanding from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtful and the room was perfect. I had one of the best nights of sleep I can remember on the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The service was truly top notch. Professional, warm, and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommend. A real winner if you are staying in DC.

Celebrated our honeymoon here (local staycation style), it was amazing!! Service was out of this world nice, room was classically decorated but still modern and so nice, and don’t skip the room service! Also so conveniently located in DC. 10/10

Our favorite hotel in DC. Rooms are beautiful and provide all the comforts you need. Service is exceptional. Location is great. Highly recommend for a romantic weekend with your partner. The restaurant, bar, and morning coffee in the library are added bonuses to a perfect hotel experience. Highly recommend!

This was hands-down the nicest hotel experience I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond, the grounds were clean, and the rooms were gorgeous. My wife and I were visiting DC to celebrate her birthday. Our stay at the Jefferson made the trip extra special. The next time we return to DC, we will definitely stay here again.
