The Washington Hilton consistently receives positive feedback for its friendly and helpful staff, particularly highlighting exceptional service from individuals like Officer Shaw and Ms. Deborah. Guests appreciate the hotel's convenient location and comfortable rooms, with many noting the quality of the food and overall experience. However, some reviews mention concerns regarding noise levels, outdated facilities, and occasionally inconsistent service.
I attended the Make A Wish Foundation fundraiser at the Washington Hilton about a week ago. The atmosphere in the ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious and a lot of money was raised for a good cause. I attend many corporate banquets for various reasons. The bar service almost all of the time is mediocre, basic drinks served in various glasses. I must comment on one bartender Patrick who went above and beyond what I normally expect. He was friendly, engaging and truly a professional. He enjoyed preparing great drinks down to actually squeezing the fruit added to the drink. I appreciated his efforts. His special drink is a delicious Old Fashioned. You had the option of regular or smoked. He peeled the orange rind, added the skewered Luxardo cherries, mixed the drink, patiently smoked the drink if requested and poured it over the rocks in the prepared glass. Word got out and people began to line up for a delightful drink for any bourbon lover. He turned an ordinary event into a memorable occasion. Thank you.
So we (middle schoolers and 2 advisors) traveled to this hotel from california for the lead conference. When we first got there, the service was good and we got our rooms at an appropriate time. Although, when we got up to our rooms there was only one bed and we needed 2 beds for 3 of the rooms. It was already late enough, but we had to wait until 1am to get the rollaway bed which was also terrible. That wasn’t our biggest problem because I could tell the worker tried his best to deliver all the beds, but they should have more than one person working on that. Next problem, the cafe (with the starbucks). The workers at there were extremely rude and had terrible manners. While they were working on drinks, I could tell there were no masks and one of them was coughing, so that was unsanitary. Also the elevators were very crowded so many decided to go to the stairs, but the doors were closed at the stairs. This could be a huge problem in a case of an emergency (fire). This is all that happened so far but it’s only day 2, as day 1 was mostly (90%) traveling.
I recently stayed at Hilton Washington DC and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was Chef Daniel. He was absolutely wonderful—so warm and welcoming—and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. He also took the time to personally recommend some great local restaurants in the area, which turned out to be amazing choices. Thanks to the attentive staff and Chef Daniel’s thoughtful hospitality, my stay was memorable and I would happily return. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience at the Washington Hilton! All the staff was very friendly and courteous. During our stay, I spoke with Chef Daniel, who generously recommended some of his favorite local restaurants. We decided to have dinner at O-Ku Sushi and it was absolutely fabulous. Thanks for the recommendation! We will be definitely returning to the hotel and experience more of this amazing city.
Officer Shaw is so friendly and personable and really loved on our people. Icing on the cake was when we were leaving. He helped us out to the car then helped ensure we got to the airport on time when our Uber driver was refusing to take us. He even loaded our bags and gave me the biggest hug before saying goodbye. You've got a good one there, Hilton! Treat him right! ;)
Great experience from check in to check out! Grateful for housekeeping staff! Great work!! Wish rooms had a refrigerator. Only 4 stars due to smaller bathroom and lack of true privacy due to the sliding doors. Rowena did a great job of educating me on the benefits of Hilton Vacation Club. Can’t wait to see how it works. Love Hilton!
Today at check in I received support from Guy, Beveret, Loslen and Antonio! Each of them offered me and my service dog Cosmo kindness and generosity! From arriving with my car to getting up to my room I felt supported and held! It was so nice especially after a long day of travel. Thanks again yall!
We went for a a wedding event it was a beautiful hotel. Great for photos. The staff was amazing - super friendly and courteous The food at the resturante was good. When we arrived Friday evening and breakfast in the morning. Check in was a breeze. The mini store / coffee breakfast stir was convenient. The ladies That made my coffee were great and friendly. Mr Chris the door man was so patient and accommodating when we needed to get taxis to my event or airport. Thank you Hilton Washington for my enjoyable stay.
Love staying here. Comfy beds. Great food all around the area. Bereket was awesome at the front desk. . Smiling and nice. Very accommodating. Always a great trip here.
I stayed here over Thanksgiving with my parents, who were visiting from Greece, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. What truly made the difference was the staff. I have never encountered a team so united, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. From Bru at the front desk to the café staff and everyone at breakfast, every interaction was a positive one. The hostess welcomed us each morning with a warm smile, and the waiters consistently remembered our order preferences, which made us feel truly cared for. A highlight of our stay was when I reached Diamond status and the thoughtful little celebration they surprised us with at breakfast, it meant so much to us. This experience really showed how impactful an exceptional team can be. Thank you, Washington Hilton team, we had a blast and can’t wait to see you again!
