The hotel left very mixed feelings. First we booked two rooms overlooking the water for 2 adults and 3 kids. We ended up with two rooms without the view. Because one room could not be two twins bed instead of one king, and second room could not accommodate extra bed for the kid at all. It turned out that rooms are so small, none of them can fit in extra bed for the kid. It is unclear how they approved our reservation. The staff was nice and 24 hours later were moved to the room with the view and extra bed, but the mood was spoiled and it is never nice to change rooms if you are only coming for 3 nights: Then first Morning, which was a weekend, we had to Wait good 20 minutes to be sited for the breakfast. And we were not offered outside terrace to sit at and order coffee meanwhile. The staff just asked us to sit in the corridor next to the bathroom. After we finally got. A table we had to wait another 30 minutes to get our food. Overall 1,15 hours for the hotel breakfast was a new experience. Although, the quality of the food and coffee was good. And on top of this, this is quite busy area and it is not at all as relaxed as you expect looking at the pictures. The waterfront is full of random people as well as the hotel facilities. You feel like in Soho club rather than on the nice cozy hotel.

The service, location, quality, views, everything is amazing. Wow we love this hotel. We live close by (Ashburn VA) and chose this hotel as a get away for our anniversary and had an incredible time. The concierge had a texting stream with my wife (in a great way). Check in to check out is 5 star. Love this place.

Our family absolutely loves the Pendry. The Pendry Washington DC was a unique and fantastic experience. The service was top of the line and the staff was warm and inviting. You get what you pay for when you stay here - luxury and quality. The rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable. Great night sleep! Being on the wharf makes it easy to go out to eat, as it’s walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. The vibe is fun and upbeat! Our kids enjoyed their stay and the staff was lovely towards them, especially my son whose birthday we celebrated while here. Whenever we travel, we always try to stay where there is a Pendry. So far, Pendry Manhattan West, Pendry San Diego and now DC! Thank you again to all that made our stay so special. We appreciate you all and will be back!

A Masterclass in Details and Care: From his Pocket Square to my Blue Hair - From the very first phone call until the moment we checked out, our stay at the Pendry Washington DC – The Wharf was, without question, the best hotel experience my husband and I have ever had. Before we even arrived, our reservation became more complicated as our travel plans evolved. Aaron and another wonderful front desk associate patiently untangled everything, documented every detail, and ensured our arrival was completely seamless. I wish I had caught her name because she absolutely deserves recognition. When we checked in, Salma already knew exactly what was going on. She was warm, welcoming, and immediately made us feel like valued guests. I had just had vivid blue hair extensions installed and was worried about staining the white towels. She wasn't sure if darker towels were available, but promised to look into it. Less than an hour later, housekeeping arrived with a generous stack just for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, every employee seemed genuinely informed and prepared. I never had to repeat our story or explain our situation more than once. Adelphia at the front desk stood out as well. During my stay, I had one of those embarrassingly human moments and couldn't figure out how to use the elevator. She immediately put me at ease, made me laugh, and later even remembered me when I called the front desk. It felt less like customer service and more like genuine hospitality. The day of our black-tie event, my husband and I couldn't quite figure out how to fold his pocket square. Someone at the front desk immediately said, "I know exactly who can help," and brought out Joshua, one of the managers. He happily folded it perfectly and made sure everything looked just right before sending us on our way. It wasn't part of his job, but he treated it like it was. Miseal, the concierge, greeted us with a smile every time we came and went. Whether helping with luggage, coordinating Ubers, or simply chatting while we waited, he made us feel genuinely welcome. He has a remarkable gift for hospitality. Raza made checkout every bit as smooth as check-in, carefully reviewing our billing details with us. Before we left, he happily looked back through the schedules so I could identify the names of the employees who had made such an impression, ensuring everyone received the credit they deserved. One of my favorite moments happened outside the hotel. Aaron and I had joked over the phone that he'd recognize me because of my long blue hair. Our schedules never seemed to line up until one afternoon when he was returning from lunch and spotted us walking out. He stopped just to introduce himself and say hello. That small gesture perfectly reflected the level of personal service we experienced throughout our stay. The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was elegant, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Room service delivered one of the best burgers we've ever had, and when we requested a refrigerator because the in-room one was stocked as an honor bar, one was delivered promptly along with a bucket of ice we hadn't even thought to request. That kind of anticipation says everything about the service here. The Moonraker rooftop bar was beautiful, the views overlooking the Wharf were incredible, and even the citrus-tea infusion in the lobby became something we looked forward to each day. The Pendry is a stunning property, but what made our stay unforgettable wasn't the beautiful rooms or the location. It was the people.Thank you to Aaron, Salma, Adelphia, Joshua, Miseal, Raza, the housekeeping team, the room service team, and every other member of the Pendry staff who made our stay so special. You all turned what was already a special trip into an experience we'll always remember. We sincerely hope to return someday...and next time, we'll be sure to schedule an extra day for some poolside R&R.

The room was so clean and smelled amazing. Everything is new and updated. Hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. 5 stars all day, made me want to check out other locations in the Pendry suite.

We had a phenomenal stay. Peggy, the manager, was incredibly kind and took great care of us throughout our visit. We loved our room on the 10th floor overlooking the wharf, marina, park, and airport — the views were absolutely beautiful. Harsh, the concierge, helped us find the wine tasting at Mount Vernon, and we had an amazing time. The restaurant on the top floor was delicious as well. For a late lunch, we had the edamame, crispy chicken, and the crab sushi roll — everything was excellent. Adam was a fantastic server and made the experience even better. We truly enjoyed our stay, the service, the food, and the incredible views. The only downsides were that the spa felt overpriced, and the pool was not fully open yet during our stay.

My experience at Pendry Washington DC, The Wharf was mixed. I chose this hotel because of the Pendry brand and came in with high expectations. In some ways, the property delivered. The waterfront view was beautiful, and the surrounding landscape was exactly what I had imagined. The staff were also friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. However, the overall experience did not fully meet the level of comfort and ease I expected from Pendry. The room felt small and somewhat crowded, and the property felt more like a city hotel than a resort-style escape. After driving five hours from New York with two dogs, we were hoping for a smoother arrival. We understood that early check-in through Amex is based on availability, but waiting in the lobby for about three additional hours made the start of the trip feel stressful and tiring. Overall, there were definitely positive moments, especially the view, location, pool, and service. However, the room experience and check-in delay made the stay feel less relaxing than expected. For future trips, I would be more likely to consider a different Pendry property rather than returning to this location.

We spent an extended weekend here for a birthday. Upon entering the room there was a nice birthday chocolate moose cake and a hand written card with birthday wishes. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. The roof top bar is amazing with the most gorgeous views especially at night! The room service is 5 star. The hotel is located in a lovely convenient place on The Wharf. The staff is amazing, 5 star white glove service! Our view was pretty great from the 8th floor. We loved our stay at the Pendry Washington DC and will definitely come back. I have nothing bad to say about this location. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Me and my husband went to the Pendry for our 10 year anniversary staycation and I didn’t want to leave! As soon as we pulled up the valet was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us opening the door and wishing us a happy anniversary with cold bottled water on a 90degree day. They offered local and restaurant advice and offered help up to our room. We had a wharf view room and OOOOMMMMGGG it was breathtakingly beautiful. They even laid out rose petals, roses in the shape of a heart on the bed and a bottle of champagne. The hotel was clean and we went to the Pendry Bar and had a few drinks. I cannot wait to go back! It was a perfect trip

I stayed in room 801, the WHOLE ENTIRE STAFF WAS IMMACULATE! I came to celebrate my birthday and they made it so magical and special. I was given a complementary cake for my birthday, the rooms were sparkling clean every time I left my room, no problems AT ALL! Again, the entire staff’s attitude was on point, extremely polite and helpful! I appreciate the chef as well! Brunch was outstanding! Chefs kiss? overall I 100% enjoyed my stay. Bring the whole family because you will not be disappointed!
