truly a special place. visiting for a concert from NY and were happy with a nice cheap room. we don’t need much when we travel and we’re on a pretty tight budget, so it was really nice to have the option to book from a micro-hotel! when we first arrived the front desk staff were very kind and jumped at the opportunity to recommend bars in the area which was so appreciated. we took them up on their recs and had a great time! they seemed to genuinely care and it made us feel very comfortable. we booked a ‘buzz’ room, it was clean and not noisy (probably due to off season). the bed and pillows were comfortable and the AC/heat was top tier! i’d like to give a special shout-out to jonah at the bar downstairs. he was so friendly and sweet, and an extremely efficient worker. he made his job look effortless and took great care of us all with a big smile on his face! he recommended to us what he said was the best ramen he’s ever had, and he wasn’t lying! he made great conversation and was the only one who knew the artist i was seeing that weekend! give that guy a raise! overall we were shocked with the service we received this past weekend. i’d recommend it to any traveler, it’s just perfect!

Rooms are so small if you sneeze you will be in the hallway. Maybe for 1 person its do able but for more than one person I would not recommend. But the saving grace is the staff and location. The staff have no off days lively friendly and attentive. The location is probably the best in DC close to everything food shopping museums nothing is over 15 min away and a great location to walk and explore.

Amazing experience at Hotel Hive!!!! ? It was a last minute booking but they were very accommodating and everyone who I spoke to was so kind at the front desk! I was even allowed to check in way earlier than anticipated which helped a ton since I was exhausted from my flight. Totally nice surprise!! ? The room itself was comfortable with heating/cooling. The bed was amazing, the blankets were soft...I slept comfortably all night! One thing to note, if you are staying downstairs, it is a bit noisy during the day, but you know this when booking! I enjoy the sound of life happening around me, but that is just something to note if you are not a fan of hearing noises! Other than that, perfect 5 star experience!!! I will definitely be back if I plan another DC trip in the future! ???

What a lovely hotel! The location is fantastic! Close to georgetown, the monuments and the foggy bottom metro station. We got a free upgrade and we checked in earlier! The staff at the front desk is amazing!!!!! They are so kind, honest and helpful! The &pizza is delicious and very affordable for the area. We can definitely recommend the hotel! The room has no refrigerator but you can request a portable one at the front desk!!

Lovely micro hotel in a close location to several main attractions. It is pretty, clean, and a little cozy, but has all the necessities. Staff were incredible and definitely contributed to the enjoyable stay & atmosphere. Room service offered upon request and on-site food and drink bars available. Overall great experience and a great find!

You know when you see reviews of a place that almost looks too good to be true? My husband and I took a chance on Hotel Hive as the price for the location seemed unmatched. From the moment we stepped in, we were so happy we did. The inside of the hotel was so modern, clean and open. The staff at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful even letting us check in a few hours early when we just needed to store our bags to do a little DC sightseeing (which the gentleman helping us gave us a brochure and highlighted some great spots for us). After a problem with our room, we even got a complimentary drink voucher which we used at the bar with an equally nice bartender. Customer service overall was outstanding and we really appreciated the hospitality in an age where it feels hard to come by. Our room itself was spacious considering it’s a micro hotel. We still had plenty of room to walk around and store our luggage. Since it’s right in the corner of a street, we could hear the outside well, but inside barely anything and we were right next to a door people use to come in and out of the stairwell. Overall, an amazing stay and we will be coming back here again for another quick weekend getaway.

Loved my stay at Hotel Hive! The front desk team was absolutely amazing — they greeted me with genuine smiles and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The bar was a total vibe — the cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. My room was super cute, modern, and comfortable. I especially loved the corner room — it had this unique hexagonal, hive-like shape that totally fits the hotel’s name. Such a fun, thoughtful touch! Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in D.C.

We had such an unexpected and wonderful surprise during our stay in DC! The front desk girl was incredibly kind and thoughtful — she made us feel so welcomed and even surprised us with a special anniversary treat. The complimentary pizza turned out to be the best we had on our trip (seriously!), and the rooftop view of DC at night was just amazing. The room was super clean and comfortable. They also kindly let us store our luggage after checkout and even offered a coupon for the parking garage. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! ?

We couldn’t have enjoyed this stay more! The building is beautiful, the area is nice/safe, and the staff were so friendly. Max and Kara were amazing and provided us with a number of great recommendations for our DC visit. Every staff member was so warm and welcoming. The area feels safe being next to GWU and the metro is only a short walk away. The building itself is incredible and they have a very nice rooftop patio. The room was smaller than we expected but they are a MICRO HOTEL and advertise it as such. So keep that in mind. That said, the room was still comfortable and we were impressed with the efficient use of the space. It made for a comfortable return from long days of walking. We cannot recommend enough!

I stayed here in the middle of March and I loved it! It’s small but honestly still very functional. There were two people in a King suite and we had more than enough room. They don’t have normal hotel amenities in room (ex. Iron, iron board, ice) but if you call or stop up front and ask they brought it to your room in
