I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC–Crystal City for one night while visiting the area, and overall, I had a very good experience and would happily stay here again. The location is very convenient. There’s a Whole Foods nearby, and the Pentagon City Fashion Centre is about a 12-minute walk away. We were lucky enough to be given a wonderful room, 629, which had a fantastic city view. From the room, we could see the Pentagon and the U.S. Air Force Memorial and flights departing from the DCA. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the staff. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when they kindly allowed us a late checkout. Derek at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He was such a warm and friendly person to speak with and genuinely made our experience so much better. When we were checking out, we ended up running a little late because we got stuck somewhere outside. I opened the hotel app and tried to reach the front desk through the chat, and Marie was an absolute sweetheart. She was very helpful and even assisted us with a digital key. These little moments of kindness really made a difference. After checking out, we wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel for a bit, however there was no Bell staff available at level L - so Derek even when a above and beyond to help us keep the luggage near the reception. I also had breakfast at the hotel. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, and we waited around 10 minutes before we eventually asked about a table. The gentleman serving in the breakfast area seemed to be attending to the other guests, so I would have appreciated a little more acknowledgement while we were waiting. My friend and I don’t have particularly large appetites, so we decided to share a platter. I also asked, quite politely, whether the sausages were salty. I’m not sure if my question was misunderstood or came across differently than I intended, but I felt that the interaction became a little uncomfortable and the gentleman seemed rather reserved afterward. I certainly didn’t mean any offense by asking - it was simply a question about the food. I ordered the three-egg breakfast, and the sausages were accidentally left off the initial plate and brought out a little later. It wasn’t a major issue, but I mention it because I think breakfast service could be a little warmer and more attentive. Breakfast is usually such a happy part of a hotel stay, so a friendly interaction can really set the tone for the morning. That said, this was a relatively small part of an otherwise very pleasant stay, and I would definitely return. And if you’re staying here for the first time, make sure you try their chocolate chip cookies! They are absolutely to die for. ? The hotel also has a very impressive Sky Dome, with beautiful views, especially at night. If you’re interested in dining there, make sure to pre-book a table. Overall, a great location, and one of the biggest fitness centres which was very, very equipped - LITERALLY A FITNESS CENTRE, they also had a lot of banquet halls and a massive lobby! In short , lovely views, comfortable stay, and - most importantly - some genuinely wonderful staff members who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful Hotel! Staff was super nice during our entire stay! Marcos at the front desk was the best!! So polite! Very accessible to public transport. Very clean and safe area! The shower head is so strong! Best partty about the room was coming back exhausted and getting in a hot shower with a shower head strong enough to give you a massage. 4 Star for room because it was hard to find extra outlets for electronics and the ice machine wasn't working on our floor.

Well front desk service in this hotel was horrible. Checked in just fine then checked out. My travel / work partner over slept for his flight and departure time. I asked the front desk clerk who a woman I did not get her name and she said she could not call his room nor tell me the room number. Absolutely no help at all to try and help so we did not miss our flights. She apologized and said she could not give me the room number or call to try and wake the person up. Horrible policy or customer service , Hotel was ok , water in the room was good , AC was not so good , called and they left a note that they checked it but no luck was lukewarm not really cold. Gym was good and spacious plenty of room and space for multiple people. Parking was good

The main facilities were fine overall and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was outdated though, with some wallpaper peeling off. The AC ran constantly and seemed to have a hard time cooling to temperature, but manually adjusting the air direction helped with this some. The bed and pillows left much to be desired in terms of comfort. As someone highly allergic to dust mites, definitely recommend bringing some allergy relief if you're sensitive as well. Parking is $51/night and breakfast is available but not included ($20+ per person).

Great location and good service. The rooms are typical for Double Tree, clean and comfortable, but with a few issues at this location. My room had the usual desk area, but with no accessible power outlets. I did find half an outlet (one socket) behind the desk, but this was unreachable. Likewise, there was an unreachable extension lead fixed to the back of the tv stand. So there was no way to work at the desk while powering any electronics. Some of the room lights had failed bulbs, so the room service staff hadn’t been reporting the failures. But the room was quiet and comfortable.

I recently stayed here from 3-23-26 to 3-28-26 with a tour group. My room was very nice and clean. I had an amazing view of DC from my window. I could see the Pentagon, Washington Monument, the Capitol Building and Jefferson Memorial. This was my first visit to DC and I really enjoyed myself. My room was clean with fresh towels regularly. I enjoyed breakfast every morning downstairs. The food was amazing, a delicious variety and wonderful service. I loved the coffee and felt like a VIP from the staff. I enjoyed a beautiful evening dinner at the Skydome Restaurant where I ordered the best filet mignon. The views, food, service and atmosphere were all great. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The bed was very comfortable as well. Oh and I loved my warm cookie when I checked in.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is an overall okay stay, with its biggest strength being a convenient location that makes getting around easy and practical. The rooms and general experience were fine—comfortable enough for a short stay, but nothing particularly memorable. One thing I did wish for was longer hours for the restaurant and bar. Having them open until midnight would make a big difference, especially after a long day when you just want something easy without going back out. Solid, convenient option, but with a bit of room for improvement in guest amenities.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington and really enjoyed my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very large and seemed to host many big events during my stay. While some areas felt a bit dated, everything was clean, well-kept, and taken care of. The complimentary shuttle to and from the nearby airport was extremely convenient, and we also took advantage of the luggage holding area before check-in and after check-out. I’d definitely stay again!

The escalator to the lobby level (one floor above ground) was broken during my entire stay. During peak times, the queue for the elevator was several full cars deep. At one point, the elevator tripped out of service due to being over capacity. When I inquired about the status of the repair for the escalator, staff did not have an ETA. When I inquired about several staircases, the staff said they were all for egress only and could not be reconfigured as an alternative for the escalator. When I asked if the remaining down-direction escalator could be stopped so that it could be used as stairs, staff said it could not - without further explanation. All in all, the staff tried absolutely nothing and they were all out of ideas. If I could have rebooked anywhere else in Crystal City, I would have moved on the first night of my stay. Beyond the escalator situation, the pillows were very uncomfortable. They are feather pillows that go flat very quickly. The furnishings are old and stained. One electrical outlet in my room was not flush with the wall. The rooms with doors to adjoining units leak sound badly. The pool doesn't exist, even though there are still references to it strewn about the hotel's website. There's not really an accessable entrance except by car. The sidewalks were not uniformly shoveled all the way around the building (even though it had stopped snowing days before I arrived). The sole shoveled pathway from Eads St to the lower lobby entrance was too narrow for ADA compliance.

Our flight out of BWI was cancelled, and we were rerouted through DCA. Because we had an early morning flight, we decided to go down to DC the night before. We booked online with Double Tree. Room was ok, service, location were very close to DCA. The Sky lounge was nice- food pretty good. My husband got a ribeye and said it was great. I got the gem salad with Salmon and it was decent, but salmon was a bit fishy. My main complaint is the constant smell of marijuana. I was awaken about 2am with such a strong smell I couldn’t sleep. It seemed to be everywhere in that hotel. That was the biggest drawback for me. I’m sure they can’t do anything about it, but it was bothersome, nonetheless.
