Great hotel awesome beds and bathrooms. The restaurant down stairs cooked a great new York strip. The Uptowner Cafe across the street has a great selection of room friendly snacks, Ramen and drinks for your stay

I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Georgetown! The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to great dining and attractions. Overall, an excellent experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had a great visit. It started with a bit of a challenge as a water pipe was in the process of repairs. The staff were very helpful and offered to put us up elsewhere, but the problem was fix right when expected so we were able to stay. We got a small credit for the difficulty so we had a cocktail on the house.

The Westin Georgetown is well situated, providing easy walking access to the shops and restaurants of Georgetown. Service ? The front desk team was a highlight. Check-in was efficient and the staff was genuinely helpful - they shared 4-5 excellent restaurant recommendations within walking distance, which saved us time searching for dinner. The Room and Amenities ?? The room was clean, modern, and spacious. ?? The fitness center is excellent and much larger than a standard hotel gym. Featuring Peloton bikes, rowing machines, and even standalone lat pulldown and leg weight machines, it is great for a workout. ?? The on-site public dining area was styled with wood paneling and tables, and it was convenient for grabbing a coffee and toast in the morning. Parking: The on-site garage is spacious and convenient (compared to other Georgetown parking options). Overall A reliable, comfortable choice for business or leisure travel in D.C. with excellent access to the city.

Exceptional Front Desk Service I had a wonderful experience at the Westin Georgetown, and I want to specifically recognize Esther and Bya at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail immediately set the tone for a great stay. Esther and Bya went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and their friendliness made a lasting impression. It’s rare to encounter service that feels both polished and truly sincere, and they delivered exactly that. Because of them, the Westin Georgetown stands out as a place that values excellent hospitality. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this hotel to others.

Many of the front desk staff (including the poor leadership of the rooms operations manager Crys J. Smith) at this hotel have poor, apathetic customer service skills. The hotel staff morale seems low and they don't seem to care about their jobs; it is like they are just there collecting a paycheck paid for by customers like myself. One employee who was nice asked me not to make a corporate report and boycott Marriott-Bonvoy because the employees get good benefits, etc. I mentioned that the benefits and value should be reciprocal for both the hotel employees and the customers who spend $300 per night. At a minimum of $300 per night, the value is not even there. The rooms are outdated and the furniture is worn. Although I liked their gym, the hotel offers no real amenities or complimentary breakfast. DC/Georgetown has a plethora of better hotels and airbnbs that give excellent customer service, are nicer aesthetically, and offer a lot more value for your dollar. On top of all the above, there was an issue with my reservation at check-in (other arriving guests seemed to have check-in problems too) and the apathetic staff could care less. I tried calling "Member Servces" to get some resolution and got a rude "supervisor" named Carlos P (Miami Call Center) who said the most shockingly upsetting things too embarassing to say here. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I will give serious consideration to ending my Marriott-Bonvoy membership and return back to using my IHG membership exclusively.

This is for a two-night stay in May 2024. The Westin is a terrific property located in the heart of the city — close to great restaurants and walking distance to Georgetown. The hotel has been well-maintained. The bar/restaurant is a little sleepy since its tucked away on a level below the lobby, but service is quite good. The lobby itself is small and oddly bland in appearance. It was difficult to find a seat there after checkout before heading to the airport. Front desk staff is helpful and welcoming. "Mr." Bruce.

After checking out from this hotel, my e-receipt showed that I was charged more than $300 worth of mini food bar snacks, meal at the "Lounge" and so forth, even though I didn't take any mini bar snacks. I called once to ask to have this issue fixed and the lady said she'd reach out to the manager, but I got no call back or fix of price. I had to call a second time for another lady to pick up and say that the hotel cannot change the bill after check out and that I will have to call on a weekday again to get connected to the billing service hotline number. While the Westin hotel messed up on this and charged me an extra $300, I am now put in an inconvenient situation where I have to reach out to get my $300 refunded without the hotel being able to fix the problem they started. Would be helpful if the customer service was better so I wouldn't have to deal with this a few days after what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

I've documented many wedding at the Westin Georgetown and they are a wonderful option in the DC area. My couples really value deep connection with their people and being intensely present on their wedding day. The Westin Georgetown made this easy, with great options for everyone to stay onsite, the beautiful courtyard, and a unique cocktail and reception space. Plus, they're minutes away from the Georgetown waterfront and the rest of DC. It's an ideal hub for a wedding. Thanks Westin Georgetown for always being a great host!

Cordial and efficient welcome on our arrival. Very clean room and bath. Electricity went off for blocks around the hotel the morning of our last full day scheduled and was still off when we returned from sightseeing in the afternoon. The staff took the initiative to book us and othered guests into a nearby hotel and covered the full cost of our last night there. Super service!
