So my partner and I were traveling from Florida to Maine to wrap up things with my mom's estate. We booked this hotel last minute because we needed to sleep. If I could have stayed at this hotel when we were coming back I would have. The service was phenomenal and something malfunctioned in their system with our room but the recovery of it was exceptional. It seriously was the best hotel of our trip and the customer service was amazing comparable to Disney if I would say. We stayed on June 13 and everyone we encountered from the valet to the door man to the front desk was just awesome.

Stayed at Le Meridien for my family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed. Service is great, they make an effort to please you, from reception to restaurant & bar. Rooms are comfy, clean and fairly new. My pet peeve, pillows .. my daughter said they were too high, I think so too , but everything else was so good that I’m ok. Marriott Platinum Lounge had no air conditioning, which was weird, so I would sit at the bar area. But still was fully stocked most of the times .

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing overall and did not meet expectations, especially given the price point. The property photos and online presentation suggested a much more upscale experience than what we encountered in reality. The room was clean and adequate, but far from exceptional. The décor felt basic for a hotel in this price range, and the bathtub appeared to have been resurfaced, with paint already flaking off in several areas. My husband and I booked a last-minute overnight trip to Washington, DC, and initially found lower rates online than the hotel was willing to honor directly. When we inquired at the front desk, the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, and we were told we would need to book through the third-party site instead. In addition to the room rate, we were required to pay a mandatory $30 “destination fee,” which included amenities such as food and beverage credits, trolley tour tickets, bike rentals, and upgraded Wi-Fi. While some guests may find value in these offerings, we would have preferred the fee to be optional or more clearly disclosed upfront. Parking was another frustration. The garage costs $30 per night and has very tight spaces and low ceilings, making it difficult to park comfortably without concern about damaging your vehicle. Considering the total cost exceeded $300 for one night, the overall experience did not justify the price. While the hotel was clean and functional, it lacked the level of quality, service, and attention to detail we expected.

Good location. The atmosphere is relaxed. The rooms are clean. The conference rooms are adequate. That's 100% of the good part. Here's why I won't start here again, particularly at these rates: 1. Bar is pricey but drinks are terrible. No mixologist, just someone with a bunch of sugary mixes. 2. No room service. If you get back late and want a bottle of water, you'll need to find an open store in the neighborhood. 3. No in-room water, coffee, or refrigerator. The room is not as well-equipped as an Embassy Suites room at 1/2 the price. 4. Housekeeping is hit or miss. Maybe they clean your room, maybe they don't. If you stop by the front desk and specifically tell them you're give for the day, that seems to increase your odds. 5. The food in their dining area is regrettable. Watery eggs in the morning. Cold entrees later. We had much better breakfast at the nearby Jefferson Hotel's Greenhouse Restaurant. Le Meridien was great chain of hotels back in the Air France days, but now that it's just another generic, Marriott also-ran with nothing to recommend itself, is suggest nearly any other hotel in the area. If you're going to stay in a room worse than a La Quinta, then pay no more than La Quinta rates. If you're going to pay for a more upscale experience, seek it elsewhere.

An absolutely great hotel in Downtown DC. Me and my family just stayed here for our second time in two years and once again was wowed. We checked in on a Sunday, Dec. 28, at around 2:30 PM. We were kindly greeted by the employee checking us in. After getting checked in, we went to our room which was located on the fifteenth floor. The room had two queen beds, a TV, desk, and a chair. We had access to the lounge which provided us with breakfast, waters, snacks, and sodas. The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, sausage potatoes, pastries, yogurts, fruit, etc. The potatoes were great as so the eggs and bacon. Everything about this hotel is great. Especially the location and kind hospitality. Must stay hotel in DC.
