First time in an embassy suites in about a decade and was expecting the usual such as eggs to order in the hot breakfast or the evening reception along with an atrium based lobby but this Washington dc location was a standout for both good and bad reasons. While I didn't explicitly use the fitness center I did find it was one of the nicest I've seen and even had more than the usual cardio equipment and free weight machines with a full selectorized cable machine. I did also appreciate a seperste water bottle filler so I didn't have to run to the fitness center every time I wanted to fill my water bottle and it was conviently located near the elevator for refills during exits. I was mildly annoyed there was no business center until I figured out they had printing near the elevators. I wish it had color capabilities but it was quick to figure out how to use. Location is great as well located near 2 DC metro stations for quick access to the entire city and the two airports. I do wish housekeeping was better as they didnt properly stock the soap disnoeners with the shower have hand wash instead of body wash and when they came to fix it they never actually attached it to the wall. Also took a while to get a blanket for the person using the sofa bed. Overall great embassy suites location and I would return again when I visit DC again.

We had an amazing 5-day stay at Embassy Suites in Washington, DC, and I honestly have to say that the service and, most importantly, the people working here made our experience truly special. Five stars honestly feel like too few for the level of hospitality we received! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s rare to stay at a hotel where you genuinely remember the people who helped make your trip better, and this was definitely one of those places. A very special shout-out to Ashenafi Tolessa, the bellman, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He made sure we were taken care of and always greeted us with a smile. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. Another huge thank you to Yanira at the omelet station. She was fantastic! Every morning, she greeted us warmly and prepared our breakfast with such care and a great attitude. Starting our mornings with that kind of positive energy made a big difference during our stay. We also want to recognize Abdul Rehman, who helped us during breakfast hours. He was attentive, courteous, and consistently made sure everything was taken care of. His service was exceptional and he really contributed to making our long stay comfortable. And finally, a special mention to the amazing bartender whose name unfortunately slipped my mind. I actually have a couple of pictures of this awesome bartender because the service was so memorable! She made sure our evenings were well-drinked, relaxed, and enjoyable ??. I truly wish I could remember her name because she absolutely deserves the recognition as well. What impressed us most was that these weren’t just isolated moments. Throughout our five-day stay, we experienced genuine hospitality from multiple members of the team. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure guests had a great experience. Hotels can have beautiful rooms and great locations, but it’s the people who make you want to come back. The staff at Embassy Suites Washington, DC absolutely delivered on that front. To everyone who took care of us during our stay — thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You made our Washington, DC trip even more enjoyable, and we will definitely remember the wonderful hospitality we received. 5 stars is less than what this team deserves. The room was great. The breakfast cooks were so fun to watch. Idk how they keep things straight but they work SO WELL together like a well oiled machine. They did not skip a beat and their fun banter made things even more entertaining to me. The server at dinner (she had a slight limp) was so kind and I appreciated her conversation so much. She surprised our kids with ice cream and it made our last night in DC so wonderful. The night time housekeeping supervisor made our trip so special. I am so bad with names. I even asked twice to try and remember (I believe it started with an S). She worked 7/27. My daughter lost a tooth, we were out of singles, so she came back to our room with candy, pringles, and a drink so she would feel special. It was her last tooth to ever lose and she made sure she would remember the tooth fairy visiting in DC. Those special moments truly count when traveling as a family of 5 and exhausted from walking miles each day. Those two truly made our experience extra special.

Wow, just WOW! When I walked in, I already knew this was going to be a great stay because of the hotel’s modern feel and large size. Our rooms are HUGE with a kitchenette and a large bed and bathroom. There’s also a comfy couch that can be used as a pullout bed. There are plenty of amenities, like soaps and lotions in the bathroom and an extra blanket in the closet. After 5 PM, they have complimentary snacks and drinks at the bar available to everyone. There is a great variety of crackers, dips, drinks, and cheese. Breakfast is amazing, with an amazing variety of foods and a large dining area. They have to go boxes as well so you can bring food to the airport or on your road trip. I love the pool and the hot tub, it truly adds a nice touch. The proximity to tourist attractions like the White House and the Washington Monument is convenient. The metro is also nearby. You should definitely stay here for the great rooms, amazing amenities, and overall experience and great value!

Elvis was amazing! We had one bad experience with the night crew, yet Elvis fixed it the next day on his shift. We loved the breakfast. The room was clean and very nice! We had plenty of space for our family of 4. This was a great location as well. If we visit DC again, we will definitely stay there! Thank you, Elvis for making our stay wonderful!

Wow. Has to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Walkable to all 6 of the Metrorail lines in under 10 minutes--you can get anywhere in the city, Virginia, or Maryland. Suites are spacious, modern, & well-appointed. Brand-standard breakfast is great. Only issue I had is that breakfast can get crowded

We stayed around 4th of July 2024. Great hotel! Lots of middle-class families for obvious reasons. Free breakfast is a huge plus, and was good. If you have Hilton Gold status or up, you can eat in the on-site restaurant with your food & beverage credit. This was when the water in D.C. has issues -- the staff was so great that they made hundreds of water bottles avaialable for FREE to guests! Way to go above and beyond. Everyone was so friendly. Very clean, well maintained. It's not fancy - but the perfect middle-of-the-road Hilton for us. As always, guaranteed connecting rooms if booking directly with Hilton is amazing (and needed). Only room for improvement would be to add a couple hot tubs -- the small pool fills up quickly. 5 out of 5, would return.

Rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. The free breakfast in the mornings saved us a lot of money from eating at nearby restaurants that would’ve cost $60+ everyday for the food we were served. The evening reception was nice as well. Every adult gets two free drink tickets and they have snacks out as well. Just expect chips and vegetables though. The location was great for getting around the city and close enough to walk to most attractions. The metro station is only a 5 minute walk away if you don’t want to walk further.

Location was awesome for the Awesome Con. We were able to walk to the convention center. Can't say enough about the wait staff at the in hotel restaurant. The bartender was so helpful with suggestions and the cocktails were delicious. Our favorite waitress was such a kind soul. She patiently suggested delicious food that was available for out dietary restrictions. Also, intuitively knew when I was having a difficult day. She absolutely went the extra mile..... The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the housekeeping staff was accommodating to our needs. Finally, the conseirge that weekend was absolutely on point!! He helped us with everything from, a cab for a impromptu tour, to securing us a wheelchair for my son to to our car at checkout. (The front desk told my husband they didn't have any available?????). My son couldn't walk due to a back injury. Don't know how we could have gotten down 11 floors without the conseirge helping us.

We stayed here in December 2025 for a family trip and enjoyed our stay. We liked the happy hour and stayed for dinner to watch football. The suite was spacious enough for our family of 5. We walked everywhere including the national mall and a few nearby restaurants. The neighborhood also felt safe. We would definitely stay here again. My only advice is to find street parking or a nearby garage- it wasn’t hard for us to find weekend street parking.
